What is B+?

B+ is a classic, robust cubensis variety that stands out especially for its large, caramel-to-golden brown caps and thick, sturdy stems (sometimes up to 20–30 cm tall). The name “B+” (Be Positive) refers to the warm, cheerful and social atmosphere that the trip often brings: laughter, connection and colorful visuals with a gentle spiritual undertone.

This strain is exceptionally forgiving of minor cultivation errors, grows quickly and yields high yields. A 1200 cc kit yields an average of 300–400 grams of fresh mushrooms over 2–3 flushes at 20–25 °C. Ideal for those who want to grow large, beautiful mushrooms with an accessible, positive experience. Store the kit at cool temperatures (2–4 °C) until use (shelf life up to approximately 6 months).

History of B+

The exact origin of B+ is somewhat mysterious. The strain appeared in the 90s in the cultivation community and quickly became popular due to its winter hardiness, high yield, and tolerant nature. It was presumably developed by growers who were looking for a ’bigger and better“ cubensis that would perform well even in less ideal conditions.

Thanks to its forgiving nature and consistently large yields, B+ has grown to become a favorite among home growers worldwide. The All-in-one GrowKit made the strain even more accessible. Today, B+ stands for reliability, generous harvests, and a friendly, relaxed growing experience – a true classic in the psychedelic community.

How do you use B+?

Growing is easy and beginner-friendly. Wash your hands thoroughly, clean the outside of the kit and fill it with lukewarm water (20 °C). Let it soak for a maximum of 5 minutes (never longer than 1 hour). Drain well, let it sit for 10 seconds, place the kit in the grow bag, add 200–250 ml of lukewarm water and close with the paperclips.

Place the bag in a place of 20–25 °C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the bag closed until the first pinheads appear (usually 10–20 days). Air the bag daily and mist lightly. Harvest just before the veil beneath the cap breaks by gently turning and pulling out the mushroom completely. Repeat the process for subsequent flushes.

For consumption: start low (cubensis dosage).

• Light trip: ± 1 g dried
• Normal trip: 1.5–2.5 g
• Stronger trip: 2.5–3.5 g

Ingredients of B+

The cultivation kit includes a fully colonized substrate (rich in nutrients, based on grain, vermiculite and perlite), a cultivation bag with air filters and paperclips. The mycelium has been selected for the classic B+-genetics. No artificial additives. The mushrooms naturally produce psilocybin and psilocin.
